THE NEW MAKRO RACER - COMING SOON!

Do you have an anticipated release date? Just about pulled the trigger on a CoRe when I saw this.....I'm waiting for the Racer for sure!! If it works as well as it looks, the other well known brands better watch out.

One other thing, will there be a review of the detector published before the release date? It would be very beneficial to hear opinion(s) and read the results from top testers a head of the scheduled release.

Looks great and appears very easy to navigate the menu system.

So now we see it is a very different machine from CoRe. Price and performance will drive market for who wants which one. I see very good marketing and management in this new addition to the line up. If this unit is as good as the others (and why would one think it would not be?) Nokta/Makro looks very formidable as a new player in the MD game!

I can't wait to find out what the Racer's performance and price will be! :detecting:

We will release that info soon..thank you for your patience...

I notice all of your machines use DD coils. Are there any plans to build concentric coils for any of your units? A coil around 6" or so would be popular. Thanks

Ohhh well, what's one more................:)

Buy 2 out of the five and you'll feel better.

Is it waterproof? Can it handle the saltwater as well or better than the current crop of dual/multi-frequency VLF machines? Us beach hunters have been waiting a long time for someone to dethrone the Excal and CZ for beach & water work...

It seems the folks at Nokta / Marko have the consumer's best interests in mind. It's good to see quality built products, with features somewhat typical to what is, or has been, available, but in a very good physical package. Based on some proven design ideas, we are not being bombarded with a lot of over-engineered detectors with a slew of adjustment features that, quite honestly, we just do not need. Too often we see 'fluff' in some detector designs, when all I really want is an attractive detector, with solid build quality, and very function electronic engineering.

Simple .... but with practical function. That's a key. I bet the Racer will capture the folks who might be on a somewhat limited budget, but still expect performance like what they are hearing about with the Fors Gold and Fors Coin & Relic models.

Really look nice in your car or truck with your others.
Hate to say it but this is what Tesoro should have done and dumped the Deleon and Cortes................they missed the boat.

The fors core runs at 15khz, and the CF77 is at 17.5 kHz.

We do not have a concentric coil for this model. We will have some concentric coils for the future models but if there is a demand we can add one to the Racer line down the road.

The coils are waterproof. It has a beach mode that is ideal for beach hunting.
