It is always nice to start one's hunt right off with a silver. I hit the field again right at 5:30 and by 5:45 had dug my first silver, the 59 D Rosie with a 84-85 reading at 4." After a couple of clads and Memorial cents, hit 2 wheaties close together and then a few minutes later got a bit of a bouncy 84-87 reading showing 5." As it turned out, the 1902 Barber was all of 5" and appeared to be completely on edge. I thought, "hummm, 2 silvers by 7:15. Still enough time left to maybe come up with a Merc for a dime trifecta before I get over run." As you can see, it wasn't to be, but still a great morning to be out swinging and did get a couple of silvers. Those, 3 wheats and .77 in clad and cents was it for the day. Still had on the 11" DD coil with sen maxed, 1 disc, d3 tones and gb of 59. HH jim tn
