Came across a few rattlers in my hunting but it's southwest Kansas so not unusual.
 
HAHAHA he got that old black snake (harmless) riled up from his warming nap.... would rather face off to ANY snake other than the hood rat gangbangers that loiter some of our parks.... hard to hide my M-4 under my shirt :)
 
I've run into a few while detecting. Makes you want to slow way down and take of your headphones so you can hear better :detecting:

ill have to watch out for them southwind what id numbers did they come up at lol
 
depends on if they have silver fillings in their fangs:clapping:
