The Quality Girl

I was looking for a lost ring on sacred ground (outside a musuem), with permission, I might add. I found this medallion. The front says "The Quality Girl" and the back is a Chalco Paint Remover ad from 1913. It also says something about Patent infringement and when I googled it, there was some big legal battle. Anyone seen these before? I'd like to know more.

Howdy afieldsne--

That's a really neat looking watch-fob! On many watch-fobs, on the reverse near the rim, in VERY small print you may find the manufacturer's name. You will probably need a good magnifying glass to see it. Whenever I dig a watch fob I had a GREAT day! Congratulations.

Did you find the ring? Best of luck and...

It's Whitehead-Hoag. Thanks for the help. I didn't know it was a watch fob. It's silver and yes, I'm more excited about it now.
