The rains stopped! :detecting::teknetics:

We've had a bunch of rain here since last Th., so hunts have been few and in between rainy spells. Got out this afternoon with the Omega and 10" DD coil and after about 50 pieces of clad and high tone Memorial cents, finally dug the 62d Washington quarter. Got the 2 wheat cents almost back to back and 1 had to have been a fairly recent drop. Shallow and in great shape. About to call it a wrap when I dug the car followed pretty quickly by the silver jewelry piece. It appears to be a pendent as there was a very small clasp with a loop (shown in the picture) that came off when I was cleaning it. It tests 925 and has a little heft to it. All in all, I dug 65 coins and with each one was thinking of Mudpuppy and his stabbing. He could have dug 165 coins from this spot in the time it took me to dig the 65. It was loaded and I was passing up all the zincers. I did shift to frequency 3 to curtail some of the chatter and ran sen of 85 and 1 disc. Major street nearby, but with the coil on the ground ran pretty quiet. Hope everyone had a good and fruitful weekend. HH jim tn

Nice silver finds:cheers:.

Jim you always seem to manage to rustle up some exotic piece of jewelry. I stayed in to rest up some.

The plumber is coming tomorrow to replace one of the hot water tanks, so no detecting for me. I'll be all fired up and ready to go Tuesday.:detecting:

Glad to see you got out, that weather pattern took out half the hunters later last week and into the weekend. Looked like even the Florida boys were in a mess of storms. Good for you to get yourself a pile of clad! That is a beautiful silver medallion..it could be worth something more than melt...Nice work!:clapping:

redmule, the vast majority of the time 99 sen, disc 1 and d3 tones. I will temper sen if situations dictate, but never disc. I want to hear everything under the coil. HH jim nt
