The Red Baron!

Mick in Dubbo

New member
Perhaps that's what I should call my GTI. I don't normally assign names to things (my wife does) but while hunting yesterday ($11 found) I was looking at the GTI and thinking, yeah it's got 3 coils and it's green. The Red Baron's usual plane had 3 wings and was mostly green.:hot:Oh yeah. The Pom's finally admitted a few years ago, that he was shot down by Aussie ground fire and not a Canadian pilot as first claimed.:ausflag: Sorry John.
Mick Evans.

Only a :canadaflag:would wear a scarf, as shown in the authentic, historic pic below. Aussies don't even have scarfs in their homeland.......totally useless in their climate. Only someone from a cold climate would even consider such a feat, that is to shoot down the Red Baron.

It was definitely a :canadaflag: who shot down that feller, and I'm sticking with my story.

J-E,
Your comment on Aussies and scarfs is quite scurrilous! All you have to do is go to a football match (or watch one on TV) and you'll soon see that Aussies know how to make good use of scarfs.

i thought it was snoopy who shot down the red baron?????:clapping:
