The "Scorpion Stinger" Should Have Been Called The "Sorpion Ringer." ....Got Another Ring In The Frost Infected Ground :hot:

Headed out after work to return to a park which I have been hitting a lot lately. Each day I grid a different piece, and try my luck. So far, it has given up 6 rings and over $70.00. I should get another 4-5 hunts in before I am finished with it, as long as the weather holds out. Below is the bling + ring. I straightened and polished it up pretty good, to the point where it looks like gold. But, it is made of copper. That other thingy might have been a medallion or broach. No stamps to indicate that it is silver.......

Nice ring find.

Could have been a clamp ring from some sort of electrical fitting?

Probably not.......Smooth flat surface in the inside, round on the outside, just like a gold or silver band.

well done on the ring even if it is just copper,, where did it hit on the scale

Alright!:bouncy:Nice hunt!:detecting:Congrats on the ring(s)!:cheers:That one you say is a broach is round with a hole in it, so we'll consider that a ring, too, for the record!;)

Hey whadda, that Scorpion doesn't have an i.d. scale. Ya' just gotta listen to how hard the signal hits and it does hit hard on rings!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

No target ID on the Gold Stinger whadda.
You just have to listen to how it Stings.....I mean beeps.
Good hunting to you ! Gene
