The stock 10.5 coil or a 8" ?

Really missing my VCO pinpointer on my XLT, I wish i could have it on my Quattro! Im thinking about getting a 8" coil to help locate items in the water quicker. any of you out there find it easier to pinpoint with the 8", if so which one should I get. any help would be appreciated, thanks, Dave
 
and yes, it is easier with the 8 inch especially to pinpoint and work in playgrounds. Tho, I usually have the 10 inch on at the beach. I would suggest getting the 8 inch.
