The Tejon is the Boss!

If you want the big boss,go for the tejon!This detector is amazing!The elliptical 10x5 DD coil that was designed for the lobo does magic on the tejon.Outside yesterday in my front yard that i have searched with two vaquero's.I pulled a 1953 wheat from under the tree roots.The tree that was also searched with the golden.Then i find six more pennies!This detector is really something.I think i have really found the perfect coil and detector combination!being able to have two discrimination circuits at touch of a finger and then all metal at touch of a finger.The high freq is great.Coins have a good fade smooth signal.Being able to set your own tone is awesome.Here is a pic of my koss v-20 volume control,which has made my big phones even better.

Very good post, I have been thinking about a 5x10 coil for my tejon, so it sounds like I will need to start watching for good deal on a used one.

Nice collection of Tesoro's and some serious coils there.

I've got a friend that wasn't too impressed with the 10"x5" DD and he warned me against purchasing one. His concern was that the coil was made for the Lobo and he felt like it wasn't getting the depth it should on his Vaquero. I was actually going to ask about the experiences and observations of others regarding this coil, so thanks for sharing.

I am also looking at a NEL Hunter or NEL Sharpshooter, but comments (good or bad) about these coils are pretty few and far in between.
