Hi

Was down there yesterday and will go back there tomorrow

Have to ask some questions to the ETRAC genii

I am using the program open down to line FE 25. Would you use that or a totally open screen or?

The ETRAC picks up as non-ferrous large iron bits. Is there any way to prevent this?

The ETRAC loves metal rings. Hopefully, some non-ferrous will appear

Will post finds at a later date

Thanks

I'm confused Bilko. How can it be "non-ferrous" and Iron at the same time. I sure would think something would turn up, that is non-ferrous. I know you can only dig so deep, so probably the Relic mode...maybe? Keep at it, something cools bound to turn up. Thanks for the pictures.

If you are trying to avoid iron objects, you need to keep a little discrimination. This allows it to pick good targets next to iron, otherwise it just picks the strongest target, which is typically the iron.

Cheers, NebTrac! The ETRAC gives non-ferrous signals to big bits of iron there. Why do you reckon? It's got me bemused. Maybe I do something with the FE line?

Thanks for the advice, Jason. Which FE line would you go down to then. Maybe higher than the 25 I am using? 30?
