the Tiger Shark is said to be deadly on gold chains.which of their land machines are equal to the task??

No better or worse than any other VLF machine for the most part, if the chain has a clasp, a pendant attached or balled up tight. You just have a better chance finding a gold chain in the water like
you do finding gold rings. All determined how you set your sensitivity level, how low you want to set your disc. level when hunting in disc mode or if you choose to hunt in all metal mode.

The TS is a great freshwater detector.

In the Tesoro lineup, probably the Lobo.

If I was jewelry hunting on land, that is the Tesoro model I would use.
