I went over Lake Huron way this morning;with the intention of WA-TAH detecting in the big Lake-When I stepped into it;I got thigh-deep,and changed my mind when my Femoral arteries in my hips started singin the blues:rant:from the cold water-let me tell ya,it was COLD!!!:surprised:SO:I spent my time on the sand beach.Found some modern coins;THEN I got a signal that just about blew my headphones out-Inserted my trusty sand scoop;and out came the GOLD!!!-From about 8" in the sand.It is a pendant,3/8"wide,3/4"long,with a loop on top for a chain.it says 2009;with the 20 on top,and the 09 below it(would post a pic;but my computer guru(my wife) is visiting friends right now). Its pretty heavy, considering its size,so Im pretty confident it is AU(that IS the symbol for gold, right??) Somebody must have got it for their graduate this year.THEN:around in the immediate area;I was gettin broken;clipped signals-EXACTLY what a CHAIN would produce-SO:I dug on the area, and out they came-BOBBY PINS-2 of 'em.Never did find the chain......

Yes it sounds like a grad pendant. Hope it is gold! :) It should be marked somewhere. We want pics! :)
