The weekend's finds using none other than the Joey Coil once again.Part:1:yo:

Tried 3 different locations this weekend. A Park and 2 Fairgrounds. I stopped off and tried a Park that I have been wanting to try on Saturday and had a few finds. Only had a Wheatie until on the way back to the Van and found a Barber Dime. Then it was Crunch Time! Started working the area with the Joey Coil and found a Rosie with a few more Wheat's along with a Silver Ring and a Minnesota Licensed Chauffeur Badge dated 1942. Then it was off to the Fairgrounds I have been pounding recently with the Joey Coil. Made more finds in the area that I and Tim have pounded to DEATH. Got a Wheatie and a Nice 1903 Barber Dime with Full Liberty in this area. I also found a few more Silver with an Indian Head, 2 Nickels, few Wheat's, and a Token. Also found a RC Cola Bottle under one building. Sunday went a different direction and went back to an Old Fairgrounds that I have worked and found well over 100 Silver at. The Old Coins are still here and I found a few Silver with one being a Nice 1918 Canadian 5 Cent Silver Fish-scale (same size as a Half-Dime) along with the normal Wheat's, Junk Fair Tokens, and 2 Indian Heads. Still amazed what the Joey Coil can do! Found a Merc that had a Rusty Bent 16d Nail above it that was a good 6" Deep. I will have to revisit these Fairgrounds again when I get the chance. Now here is what I got this time out. I will start off with the Clad Coinage. Most came on Sunday. I found 13 Quarters, 29 Dimes, 4 Nickels, and 158 Pennies. And that is just the Clad I decided to dig!!! Tons More where that came from! For Silver, I found another 11. They were 2 Barber Dimes dated 1903 (Full Liberty) and 1912-d, 4 Mercury Dimes dated 1918-d (with Full Bands),1920-d,1942-d,1945-d, 4 Roosevelt Dimes dated 1946-s,(2)1948-d,1958-d, and a 1918 Canadian 5 Cent Silver Fish-scale. I also found an assortment of 6 Junk Fair Tokens and also 1 Good For Token. The Good For Token reads Good For 5c In Trade on the Front and on the back reads At Funfar's Pool Hall / Lidgerwood, No. Dak. There is a Part 2 coming up shortly so keep an eye out for it. Some nice finds in Part 2 as well. Here is the rest of the Weekend's Finds using the Joey Coil. I found 3 Indian Heads dated 1896 (this one was only 1" Deep),1901, and 1905. The 96 and 01 are in nice shape due to the Sandy Soil at the Fairgrounds I was at on Sunday. I also found 2 Nickels which were a Liberty V-Nickel dated 1902 and a Buffalo Nickel dated 1916-s. These Nickels are in tough shape and were found at the Fairgrounds I was at on Saturday. As for the Wheat Pennies, I found 33 more. They are dated 13,16,16-s,19,19-d,20,25-d,26,26-d,29-d,30,30-s,36,(2)36-d,38-d,42-d,44-d,44-s,45-d,46,(4)46-d,46-s,48-s,50-d,(2)51-d,(2)57-d, and 58-d. For Misc. Items, I found an Older RC Cola Bottle, a Minnesota Licensed Chauffeur Badge dated 1942, 2 Keys, an Old Pocket Knife, a Junk Aluminum Kid's Ring, a Small Gold Plated Heart Pendant, a Old Copper Ring, a Sterling Silver Ring with Bells and Flowers on it, and a Aluminum 4-Leaf Clover with the Initials L H inscribed. The Second Pic for the Misc. has another Key and the Pocket Knife showed. I forgot I had them in with the Clad and had the rest already soaking so I thought I would post them with the Second Pic. I still have never found any old silver on land .. only in the water, and they sure don't look like yours:sad:

Sure is amazing to see what a little Water will do to Silver Coins when they have been lost for a long time. Luckily, the Silver Coins don't get that back on Land but occasionally I will find some that are in tough shape due to Water or Fertilizer Use in the ground. That Joey coil likes you bud! I would just keep going back and pounding until the high signals disappear. Then you can pound it again with a different coil if you want to.
 
James ,Once again you make it look easy,but we know different.We missed another chance for rain.I hope it rains soon or I not going to be able to dig,I passed a few targets because the ground mixed with rock and couldn't dig ,but I will return and hopefully dig.Great job and good luck on your next hunt.

Just too bad the season is coming to an end soon or I would keep working this Fairground. I think I may try some new territory soon to see what else I can find so I have more sights to go back to next Spring. Thanks for the response and Good Luck and HH to you.:detecting:

Been Raining here off and on. Just hope we don't get a Cold Snap soon to where the ground will start freezing. Hopefully, we have at least another 3 weeks or so before the white stuff starts to fly. Got to reach my Quota for the end of the year totals. Can't say yet but I am getting Close to what I want for Coin Totals. Really hope you get some Rain soon so you can get out and do a little digging also and post your finds. Thanks for the response Crow-Duck! Good Luck and HH when you get out:thumbup:.
 
It is a Coil made by Coiltec. It is a 5" X 10" Coil that gets between the Trash and Iron fairly easily. For optimal results, you must go slow with the sweep speed when hunting Trashy Area's. This Coil's Not Waterproof unless you Silicone the Cable Entry into the Coil itself. The Joey is very Lightweight and can be swung all day. I have dug Deep with the Joey Coil with the Max being at the 10" Mark. I myself call it the Sniper Coil since this Coil has Landed me a Ton of Silver since I have owned it. If you are needing a Coil for Trashy Area's, this is one of the best, at least that is my opinion of it since I have seen what this amazing Coil can do with the Appropriate Settings and Ground Conditions. There are other great Coils on the market also, but when I need something to search in Trashy Area's, the Joey Coil is what I grab. I also have the 8" Minelab Coil along with the Sunray X-12, and a back-up Stock 10.5" Explorer 2 Coil just in case my original Explorer XS Coil goes bad.
