I was raised up by a very strict father who never showed us children that he loved us...because of his bitterness of a dad who left them when he was young and carried this into his own family concerning his angriness, for he worked from the time he was very young and all his life...he was a hard worker and we did have food of some kind when he went without many times while growing up! His love was shown that way, but we needed to be hugged and told that we were loved and he was proud of us which never happened! I thank God for his teaching us right from wrong and mom took us to church and he went sometimes, when he wasn't working in St. Louis to help make us a living and keep the farm going as mom and us worked hard and took care of it the best we could!
The reason I tell this is because I had bitterness towards my father and brought it into my own marriage and was unhappy until I truly found Jesus as my own personal Savior and Lord in my 50's, although I had attended church most of my life, I knew about Jesus but didn't know Him, personally! I raised my children the best I could with Jesus being my guide but the blessings of truly knowing Him wasn't there for me! My family and I were blessed in many ways, but the joy and happiness I did not have until Jesus by His grace showed Himself to me and now I love Him with all my heart, soul, mind and strength, as He is my All in all and I never want to live without Him from now through eternity! God makes the difference in a person's life in Jesus' sweet name, and turns our unhappiness into joy unspeakable and full of glory! This is what our nation needs with more lost souls saved and changed in Jesus' love, who are sinners without Jesus' forgiveness by their repentance of sins, to become a great nation again and move forward to help our own people and then others throughout the world! Will it be I don't know, but can always have high hopes and believe we can do it and win, by voting in righteous leaders, who are true patriots loving our nation, the USA! Praise the Lord that our flag shall ever wave over lands and seas and God guides us in Jesus' name with His Almighty righteousness and truth! Amen! Ma
