I think that was totaly staged tho.
No way that was a wild or in any way agressive coyote.
That critter showed absolutley no sign of fear, timidness or agression.
I'll never ever understand why people have to shoot them for 'sport'.
I meat hunted all my life but never could understand that...
" this would look better dead on my wall or living room floor than it does in the wild "

I would believe it. Loss of habitat forces coyote closer to "man", and therefore they can become acclimated to them. They show-up in towns and cities all the time. As far as hunting them, ask any fowl hunter how an over population of coyote can decimate game bird populations, not to mention attacking and killing family pets, or even children. Here (Indiana), much like deer, there's too many of them and their numbers HAVE to be reduced. I trapped them, and have hunted them....always at the request of farmers (yes, they kill livestock too).

My computer is running slow tonight, so I was only ably to see about 1/2 the video.

That is obviously staged. I've seen a LOT of yotes, and every one of them was skittish as hell when alone. In large packs they can be dangerous, but they arent stupid. They know that alone they are vulnerable. That one was obviously very well fed, especially considering the weather that was shot in.

When they have RABIES NO FEAR !!!!
