There are times when you simply pay your respects and honor those who served and gave their all.

I have been to Arlington National Cemetery and the thought of laughing at any time throughout that visit, never entered my mind. You have to wonder what those folks were thinking.
Well, they weren't thinking and were quickly and sternly reminded of where they were.

HOOAH to this soldier for doing his duty...

My wife and I were a part of a missions trip to Virginia and on the way back home we went to Arlington. Those rows and rows of white crosses tell the whole story. Don't think I've ever been that moved. Overwhelming at times. When we got to the Tomb of the Unknown, it was about 97 degrees and extreme humidity. I could feel the sweat running down the middle of my back. As the guard was changing, I swear those boys in their dress uniforms didn't have a drop of sweat on them. If they did, I couldn't see it. I had never felt so proud to be an American. Very moving. God bless our troops.
