....and now I get to stare at it until the ground thaws.

I had a little trouble getting that coil cord up into the shaft at first. But I found that if you talk nice to it, it will go. Not that impressed with the rain cover I bought for it. It looks cool but it is'nt real snug down by the "menu" and "back" buttons. I will most likely buy the official Minelab cover, like I should have done in the first place. I tried doing some air testing in my shop at work but there was just too much metal everywhere. It's a sensitive sucker anyways.

Well...what do I say now? I hope I have some great photos and videos for you guys this year. This detector looks bad-azz !!!

A special thanks to Chuck Marcum with Indian Nations Detectors !!

C'MON SPRING!!!!!

i bought the same headphones to go with my se and got garrett pro pointe also excellent combo for the se

You are going to find a LOT of deep coins. Love mine it gets the silver that other machines cant find .In one season i found 27 silver coins 8 rings and 35 Indians not to mention all the Wheaties in a park that i hunted for years with other machines. Have fun and post some pics

Dude, you are gonna love that thing ! Glad you finally got it. Think warm weather. Spring will be here before you know it. Hope you do great with it. So far i've found a silver quarter, two merc dimes, two large cents, a couple old, deep wheats, a sterling silver necklass with the silver pendant and alot of clad. The mercs are 1918 and a 1916, no D ! And as you know, I just got mine on Jan.7th and had to wait a couple weeks for things to thaw here in Delaware. Andy's book has helped me alot also. Switching from the xterra has been pretty smooth i'd say and my silver finds have gone up. Your gonna be piling up the silver before you know it. Good luck and have fun with it. Joe.

Now go get that silver!:detecting:
Just stay away from territory:lol:

Glad you finally got your new toy Dave. I'm sure you can't wait for the weather to improve so you can take her out for a spin. I wish you all the luck with your SE and I'm sure you will be posting some neat finds very soon. HH.

Oh and you will be buying the X1 probe. Trust me.

That would be a nice addition to the Explorer, but I will wait until my Pro-pointer dies, if it ever does. Even so, the Pro-pointer is less expensive.

The cover that sunray sells fits better than the minelab the cover that came with my se is wrinkled so bad its hard to see the screen the sunray fits alot better:detecting:
