These beauties don't show up much anymore...:clapping:

Believe it or not this is my first silver coin of the year. I have been far too busy with too many things to get out detecting this year. It was such a cool, beautiful night last night I had to run by my favorite old park and do some swinging. I got one sweet, deep silver hit out of the old picnic ground that I've hammered to death for many years. It was in a bare depression left behind by July 4th fair activity, so I was helped out on this one. At 7-8 inches I pulled out what I could barely make out as a silver dime in the darkness. This is what It cleaned up to look like:
Take care and HH, Mike.

Nice barber for sure, I also got a 1901 barber last weekend it in nice shape but yours is in outstanding condition the detail is just awesome, first silver of the year but man what a nice a nice one...

Mike, I think you found some kid's brand new dime that was given to him by Dad in 1901 to spend at the fair. lol
Super nice condition. Bruce

WOW Mike!! In 38 years of detecting, I've only found two Barber dimes in that condition. I did the "happy dance" after each recovery! The beauty of those older coins make our current stuff look like Chinese knock-offs!

That baby sure has some incredible detail! Congratulations!
