Things to do on a rainy day (or sunny)..

Pete in MI

New member
Let's generate some good ideas what can be done.

For instance, ya know I went detecting in that ghost town the other day. I hosed off the coil before bringing it in the house out of the hot car. Today it rained so gave me a chance to take the coil cover off, clean the cover and the coil, put them back together and then put electrical tape around the coil cover to keep debris and water from getting into the coil cover. A lot of interference, chatter, whatever you want to call it is caused by a build up of debris and moisture trapped inside the coil cover and under the coil.

Even have a rechargeable battery on the charger. Next time I go out I won't have to find batteries (I have one battery pack with AA batteries and 2 rechargeable battery packs) or worry about the detector going nuts and being unuseable.

So now your turn. What would you do on a rainy day (or sunny)?

Me bones ache on a rainy day and I just mess with my new computer and printer! Trying to learn more about how to use it! And I am learning little by little! On sunny days I feel better, so I try to work in the yard or in the house...................but I am afraid I don't accomplish a lot! Oh well, I am still living and that's what counts till I pass away or leave in the catching up of the saints!

Pete, It sounds like you had a good day.....rain or shine! :)

God Bless!
