Thinking about getting the tejon. But I have a question!

Does the disc tone change or the am tone with the adjustment, thanks tigerhank68

Hello Hank, The tone adjustment changes the pitch in both AM and Disc modes. Turned to the left until it clicks puts it in a VCO tone mode.

The Tejon is a hot deep detector that is used by many successful relic hunters. It has a bit of a learning curve but once you learn what to listen

for, I'm sure you will be pleased with the depth and discrimination this detector can provide.

Hello back Jerry, thanks for that info on the tejon, The funny thing is I just got back from the VA for my hearing test and I need a hearing aid for my left ear, I do have the Atpro but at times I get tone bombardment if you know what I mean, so I'm thinking about getting rid of the Atpro and settle for the Tejon, for me the tones get to me at times, I guess Tesoro knows us older detector guys need a little help, thanks tigerhank68

Hank you can get the Vaquero or Cibola with a high tone set up these really scream out and I grant you that you will hear it when it hits a target!! I liked the Tejon I had but it's one of those detectors that does take some practice to learn it! I myself liked my Vaquero better it ground balances alot easier and seemed to perform very well as an all purpose detector. The Tejon seemed a little more finicky in trashy areas.
