Third "HIGH LOW" Signal Got This Nice Ring:thumbup:

I got out for a brief hunt yesterday, as the white clouds turned black, then the sparks, then the sound of thunder invading my headset.

There were too many signals close to shore (lake) so I headed out to the deeper water, about 5 feet where the signals thinned out. I left several large metal objects in the water. The Infinium's audio after the 8" mono coil went over the targets lasted well over 5 seconds, which always indicates a large object. I did dig some good sounding High-low targets, but all I got was some junk. I was at this site about a month ago, and the swimming has been minimal so far this year. I had previously gotten about $3.00 in loot. However, I was concentrating on Low-High signals, going in several directions and listening for any changes in audio. My third High-Low got me a nice braided silver ring, and my next Low-High signal got me a penny. Then it was getting pretty serious outside, so I got out of my wetsuit and put on some dry clothes, just in time before the sparks really hit hard. :)

Nice silver John! I've never seen a ring quite like it. HH regards Nugget.:detecting:

Interesting that the silver ring caused the Infinium to sound off with a high/low signal. Shouldn't it have been a low/high signal?
