It was a beautiful spring day today so I grabbed the ATX and went down to the city beach for some water detecting this afternoon. It's not the first time that we've been out this year. We've been out a number of times and have found some nice old silver coins but today we found our first gold of the year together with a few other bits of jewelry. The picture shows what we found today. Not much coin, just $3.35. The ring on the left is gold 10K, the next one appears to be silver but not marked, the earring is marked 925, the next ring is tungsten, and the one on the right is junk. I hope to get out a bit more in the next few weeks. The lakes are low water at this time of year. Good luck everyone...Syd

That's great Syd! 4 rings in one hunt is always good. I managed my first gold ring last week with my AT Pro in a sports field. I hope we all have a good 2016! :)
