This F70 has to be the best detector I've use

I am just loving this very light detector that goes deep and I love the 10" coil. The 10" coil is great in iron trashy sites. It's running smooth and quiet set hot. It's working great for me with tone 1 and 2f if I get into a lot of iron trash. I don't use any of the other tones. So that's how I feel about my F70:hot:http:... //www.findmall.com/smileys/hot.gif

Wow! I hear you there brother, really love my F70 too...:buds: I've only really used the 11"dd on mine and the 10 sits idle... You need to get yourself a little coil like some of the other boys use.thats what I need to do anyway....Seems all of us that have the F70 use a wide variety of settings and coils and whatnot..dam they are great! By golly I think I'll head back out right now and sweep a little sand until the moon comes up, and maybe just keep on a going until the sun comes up...its such a pleasure to swing this rig.

I run my F75 the same way. Single tone and hot as a pistol although mine gets a bit chattery above 75% sens.

Thank you Rick I have been saying that for a few years. The F70 is a super coin machine. I run the F70 with the 6.5" coil and I use 3H tone and basically dig high tones. The more I used the F70 the more I would appreciate it. Especially when I would go off and buy one of the newest detectors. I would come back to the F70 and remember how simple and versatile it is. I still had to try those other detectors. I am getting the urge to try another one. :bouncy: ......Z

lol, I have that same problem. This is the 7th I traded for within a year. Now I would like to see what the new Fisher is going to be. So what detector do you want to try. I did enjoy the Explorer II I had for awhile. If it had been as light as the F70 I would have been happy. One I want is the Blisstool but I'm not in an area to find a lot of valuable finds. And I think I'm digging deep enough with the F70 anyway. On my test coins the F70 seems to hit as deep or deeper than the Explorer II.

loved my f70

Same story here!

I had the top of the line Whites and Minelab....
had the ATPro...the ATgold.... a few Tesoro's
and I settled in on the F70.

The above machines I listed above were good but,
the simplicity and the weight of the F70 makes it
fun to use not to mention it has a really nice display.

What does F70 stand for?

Fantastic machine ...
Can use it 7 days a week
0 - Complaints!

F70 rocks!
