This is a first , got a signal little jumpy high 40 - into the fifties but good tone so I dug it and came up with a gold crown from someones tooth :surprised:. took me a sec to figure it out didn't expect that LOL. Got a buddy has one of them. Told him don't have to leave me anything, I just want to close the lid. lol

Nice! I've yet to find a crown!...that one being in the dirt is indeed a rare find...I see some get found on the sand or water of a beach...I think this is the first I remember seeing found in the dirt! What a day you had, a gold tooth, an earring, a Sac dollar, and a Chinese coin! Great work there, Stryker!:beers:

Funny how those creep me out, yet picking up a bird band with bone and gristle in it is no big deal.

That should get you an honorable mention in the Garrett newsletter at least. One good thing about that find-at least the head wasn't attached.

Good detecting! Makes you wonder how it got there.
I found a gold capped front tooth with the root attached in a park. It had appeared to have dried blood on the root. So, I walked back to my truck to get a plastic bag to pick it up in, took it home and dropped it in bleach before handling it. Gold is gold and the item makes a great conversation piece!

Fantastic find!
