Back in Aug of this year a detecting shop was broken into and detectors were stolen. Here is at least a partial list of what was taken and the serial numbers. *You might want to check you S/N if you own one of these make/model detector. My understanding is the shop was in maybe one of the Norwegian countries and these may be tried to be sold out of country - like to us in the States so beware...especially if buying off eBay or other place.

Hopefully those responsible will be caught. I can only guess if someone has one of these units that the detecting shop wouldn't ask for it back but certainly would want any info one could give to bring the seller to justice. Also guessing once they can find at least one thief the insurance company would see to it the cost of the detectors are paid for and they would ask the courts for restitution to recover their costs.
