This is how I run both my Panteras

Makes swinging the big box units a breeze!

May put remote Disc/All metal switch on S-rod BUT, I really dont use all metal all that much, so this idea is on the back burner.

Nice set up Tony........

That's how I set up my Tiger Shark, makes it easy on the arms that way. I'm guessing that you are'nt going to drill holes for the spring-clip and are using the hose clamp for now. Good deal.

Thanks for posting, I have a Pantera also, may have to borrow your idea.

Hey Randy,

I 'was' considering placing a spring clip in the rod assembly to secure the control box however the arm cuff legs prevent the box from twisting on the rod so I nixed the idea of the clip. Good thing because I actually dislike physically modifying something that can not be restored back to normal.

I placed a narrow strip of leather under the clamp to not mar the rod finish.

I usually slip a bag over the control box to keep it clean too. Once the Pantera is set, I rarely change any controls while tecting, so a bag is a non issue for me.

You already know the comfort this brings thanks to your tiger shark setup.

BJ, Good eye you got there, yet the one shown in the pic is actually P2. Pantera 1 has the black toggle on the Notch switch. That is the only physical difference.

Hey Tony

I only have one Pantera, and I bought it from BJ a couple of years ago. Deja Vu? I don't think so, but it is a little weird, Tony did you buy a Pantera from BJ also?

Anyway......BJ is a swell guy and we have kept contact with each other since I bought the Pantera from him. Also I have been pleased with the performance of this particular Pantera.

Monte has mentioned 'hot' and 'cold' Tesoros from that time period......and I think I have a 'hot' Pantera. I've found some deeeep coins and a token with mine.

Yes, I got P1 from BJ alright. He is a good fella aint he? He has a knack alright for the hot units imo. Need to find out how he manages it.
