...there is a new show coming out I believe on DIscovery channel this next Tuesday at 10:00 PM;called "THE GHOST HUNTERS"....On this particular show;there is a story that has to do with "GHOST SOLDIERS";I think it has to do with Gettysburg in Pennsylvania. There is a guy on there that claims he has actual,REAL footage of what I think are Union soldiers in formation;marching across the battlefield-In full uniform;flags and all-And they simply disappear;and he supposedly has the proof on tape;and this show is gonna put this guys''proof"to the test,I guess.NOW,I have heard and seen stories of this happening;people from all walks of life seeing the same thing-AND I have ALWAYS had a STRONG attraction to the CIVIL WAR/OLD WEST period of the 1800's in this country(some people have told me in a past life,I must've lived then:shrug:);SO:Im gonna watch that program next Tuesday with an open mind;AND Ive decided that Im gonna go to Gettysburg the FIRST chance I get- AND IM takin my CAM-CORDER TOO-YES-I KNOW the chance of gettin my own footage of something strange is slim to none,BUT Ive always wanted to go there anyway,to connect with our ancestors that gave their lives on both sides for what they believed in.Ive been told that there is a belief that some of my long-lost relations fought at Little Round Top in the Michigan and Illinois infantry.

I plan to go to Gettysburg in the near future as well. What brigades did your family serve in?

A guy in the club just went and said that you buy a cd when you get there and it tells you info as you drive through the park.

I have been to Gettysburg about 14 years ago man was it neat. I set there for about twenty minutes looking over the battle field almost in tears. They have alot of cool museums too. I want to go back some day. My aunt took me in 1995 . It has a driving tour also , so much to see.
