I am very glad and thankful, for my prayers were answered last night and early morning with rain....enough to soak the flower beds and give the trees and grass a refreshing drink of clear, cool water! And Bill in Texas, I sure hope and pray you rec the much needed rain for you and your neighbors facing a bad drought or will soon! I prayed for you, me and others to get the rain we need or needed! I went to mailbox last night and it was just barely sprinkling...couldn't even get wet in it....Well, I just prayed God thank you for the little bit we are getting, but Please, Lord, let it rain lots so the flowers, lawns, trees and etc. would be watered and I give You praise for it right now and thank Jesus for the good soaking rain before Cliff and I even had it! Isn't God just so awesome and wonderful???

Remember, Jesus prayed before giving out the few loaves and fishes while the people were gathered to hear Him speak on the mountain side! He said, I Thank You, Father, for multiplying the fishes and bread to feed the multitude (my interpretation) and there was enough to feed all with more left over than what was started with! Jesus tells us to pray and to ask....even before we see the answers and results! Sooooo....Thank You, Jesus, and Glory to God from Whom all blessings flow! Amen! Love to all in Christ Jesus! Amen! God Bless! Betty

we got a rare rain that was not real heavy but it lasted half the night. Everything got a good soaking, Praise the Lord, steve in so az

Here in western Michigan we've gotten our share of rain lately. We've had some wonderful weather too but sometimes it would be nice if we could send the over abundance of rain to those folks who haven't gotten any at all. It was dry going to Sabbath services this morning but it looks like it was going to rain afterwords and it's been that way all afternoon. I don't mind the rain really. It's the humidity afterwards that's difficult to deal with but I'm not complaining. It could be worse! My friends living in the Philippines have had torrential downpours several weeks in a row now and many, that lived near the rivers, had their homes washed away and, of course, that means beginning all over again.

God is gooood for sure and gave you rain also! Let us all give Him praise for sure for the good and the not so good, for it is in the trying times that we draw nearer to Him or should anyway! God Bless! Betty

Sorry to hear about your friends in the Phillipines having so much rain and washing their homes away! That is truly sad and, yes, a new beginning for them! When we accept Jesus, as our personal Savior, it is a new beginning as a new creation in Christ, which is not easy sometimes either until we gain godly wisdom and grow in the Word of God and do what is right in His eyes and not ours!

We had lots of rain last year that made my flowers and yard really look good, but not this year, even though we had rain during the early Spring I never put out any new flowers to replace the Annuals and etc. I had last year! Still have some but not near as many, so the blooming won't be as beautiful to view! With seeing after Cliff and taking care of him, I just didn't have the energy this year to do much yard work! Yet, God's creations are all around and give us joy to see what an Amazing God He is and with His paint brush, too! God Bless! Betty

Let us rejoice every day no matter what!

Well, Bill, I will still be praying for you and all the drought areas to receive rain and soon I hope! Cry out to God, in Jesus' name, and ask Him with your whole heart believing that He will hear and send much needed rain to you, also! Remember, our children cried out to us for what they wanted and when our hearts melted we gave in to them, providing it wouldn't do them harm in any way! Have believing faith and keep praying, as well as me and others along with you, and I know God will bring enough rain to soak the land and fields good and provide water for the thirsty people and animals to drink and to bathe in but also you don't want flooding and damages either! Sometimes it takes fasting and praying....there are different ways to fast besides not eating....to get our Heavenly Father to shower His blessings down in more ways than one, for He knows we are really serious then! God Bless! Betty
