I thought that the 1877 indian i found in south central wis. was as good as it gets but when this came up from 8 inches of black Illinois dirt I almost stoped breathing.

I was running im -10, sens. at 22, the cross hairs were at the top center of the smart screen and digital was 6 27. I thought it was a dime but it sounded different than a dime. all i knew was that was a coin and that i was going to dig it and i did. now you know the rest of the story. HH Jimp

WOW!!! Congrats on the awesome find. I had to look up what a coin like that would be worth... you totally hit the jackpot with that one. What year is it? I don't see a mint mark on the back...
