Still playing with digging tools. My friend John cut out this blade yesterday on the CNC and we went to the shop today, I gave plenty of morale support and ideas for a final product. Here is what turned out.

A beautiful work of Craftsmanship and skill !!!!!

Nice job my friend....might make a little wider and cover the handle with a bright colored grip...Looks heavy also and could be a factor.....

I would look at 2 things. The hilt a little larger similar to the Lesch tool, and some grip material on the handle. Also, I wonder about the knob at the end of the handle as to whether or not that might get in the way. But the blade definitely has the right Idea. Cuts down excess metal not needed to do the job.

Great job, like the narrow blade.
Make another with this in mind----more knife edge to quickly penetrate the lawn grass, serrated saw edge only needed for a couple inches near the handle portion of the blade . That way the saw teeth will cut thru the grass roots near the surface, where it's needed. You might just have the perfect tool.
