This mornings chilly hunt.

Entered the woods with a brisk north wind and a temp of 44. Two hours later still had the brisk north wind with a temp of 34. I had on light gloves, but they were fall from heavy enough. Nor was the light wind breaker I had put on. Did, though, hit a couple of silver jewelry pieces which gave me a little shot of warmth for a couple of minutes. The sterling silver band was the first jewelry I hit. It was laying about 3" deep beside a down tree. The old fashion ear ring came near the end of my hunt and was nestled among some small roots about 4" deep. It doesn't show any silver markings, but it is silver. It does have made in Siam on it and Siam is now Thailand. I don't know if the copper band could be an old ring, or not. It does have smooth edges, but for sure what it is, I just don't know. Besides 3 Memorial cents, a clad quarter and another no cash value token, got 3 wheat cents, 26d,28 and 36d, and a whats it. Like so many, I am still looking for that gold coin. F 75 LTD with 11" coil. HH jim tn

Great finds! I am always happy when digging wheats---keeps me thinking the next find might be silver---I like your rings too!

That earring looks similar to a couple I found over the years. Is it from Thailand? Mine were old and said Made in Siam. Great finds:)
