This mornings woods hunt.

Hadn't taken the Omega for a woods spin for a while, so put on the 11" dd coil and headed out with it for my morning woods stroll. Over all, didn't dig anything astounding, but did manage several mini's, of which 2 appeared to be fired, 1 54 Rosie dime, 2 wheats, a 26 and 36d, some clad and the usual curio's. 2 of the ringed bullets were in the 5-6" depth range, and this is swinging over a good bed of leaves and low brush, so the Omega does get ample depth for woods relic and coin hunting. And she only chirps when there is something to chirp about. I was running sen. 99, disc. 1, d3 tones and g b of 56-58. HH jim tn

Man you really run that wide open! Still getting some silver I see, nice! New display plates too! Comfortable weather there?

Thanks Digger and Mud. Ya, Mud, got a new plate. Wasn't to happy with the other one. Only lasted through four dishwasher washings. When relic and old coin hunting, if my detectors run quiet, I do run em wide open. I was on a 150 + silver coin pace for the year, but the last couple of months have gotten real lean. That dime makes 131 to date. HH jim tn

I'm still thinkin you'll be bringing home a gold coin soon, seems like you are finding the right old dirt.
