My stock coil died the other day. This morning I decided to get up early and hit low tide at the beach. What a beautiful morning. Hunted for a bit and picked up some deep clad which made things look promising. I was still an hour or more away from dead low tide. Then it happened... While digging up another target, I actually broke my SS monster scoop. The way this thing was made, I didn't think that was possible. It didn't break at a weld as one would think, it simply snapped about 2" above the scoop. Weird. I ordered a "P" handle water scoop (the shark) and I'll get the monster fixed at work. I have a guy who comes in to do SS welding every once in a while who's a real artist. I'm sure he'll be able to mend it.
