Found these item in and around a Union CW campsite here in Kentucky. 1st Wisconsin Regt. 1861. Camp Buell.
I have found two of the top one, it appears to be brass. It has a place to put you thumb or finger to push it, I think. The bottom one is a cap of somekind maybe.... I'd really like to get these things ID. As I am makeing a display case for my finds. Thanks!

Can you post more photos a bit closer up and put something in for scale?
Thanks

The bottom one looks like one of those little pots--I can't think of the name--where metal is melted and poured into molds.

Hmmmm, that would be an awfully small pot, it would take 3 "pots" full to make a 69 cal minnie <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> Tommorrow I will take some better pictures with something to reference the size of these objects. Thanks for giving it a guess Mark.
