What is this green C``p?? It's on alot of the metal objects.
At first I thought it was because the items were brass or copper...
The only items I haven't seen it on is silver....it's very hard to remove...

Hi there Chilihead!

Great looking cameo there! Still have not found one like that....great job!

Hi there MrChile !

Super post.

Looking more closely at the locket, the rim inscriptins reads:-

PR.SC.CO. 1/20 - 12k Gi..(t)?

Manufacturer...date...and probably copper based item with 12k gilding..?

So does the 1/20 suggests a date of January 1920.

I think I can see a male profile in the main body's frame, (then maybe the lady's picture would be in the lid.)

Thanks for sharing your finds.........MattR.UK.

p.s. Have you tried electrolysis to remove copper/green deposites on finds? Or maybe soak them in vinegar.

Still one of a kind

And Yes I use vinagar it works great.

But it dosent always remove all of the deposits.

Tonight I got a 21.9 gram 14k white gold ring..I'll Post tomorrow
