Good Morning all you sand sifters, dirt diggers, and chip kickers! I hope this photo warms you up and inspires you to Get out and Find Something!
As you can see, most of my good finds are confiscated by the Missus. I get to keep the pennies!

Nice find mudpuppy:thumbup:

Wow, Great find. The chain alone would have been hard to detect. I detected a gold pendant that was on a $950 heavy 14k gold chain. Been wearing it for 2 years now.

Yeah, luckily, it was on the beach in a sand washout after a storm and very shallow...that area is under 6 feet of sand again...I got really lucky, there was another guy there sweeping the main area, and really gridding it out good, so I went off to the side, where people like to drink and go skinny-dipping at night...you know when you hit bottle caps and bobby pins, theres gotta be some jewelry nearby!

That is a very nice find, especially to be all intact. Is the 'peace' ring a find, also?

Yep...the peace ring was also a find...the wife says she's gotten more jewelry from me this summer than in our whole 30 years of marriage!

What a great way to spend time that was once spent fishing...dont get me wrong, I am a good fisherman, and love to fish, its just that fish arn't easily "redeemable" for money, theres rules and seasons and size limits, always getting hassled by "the Man" "lemme see your license, lemme see your life jackets, fire extinguisher", etc ...not to mention the expense of gas, bait, beer.... and no matter how good you get at it, lots of times you come home with nothing...

With this detector, you are going to find (catch) something, it may just be a penny, or it may be a 15k ring! Sure a fellow still has to buy gas and beer, (thats a "given" with daily life) but four double A's last 10 times longer with better results than any smelly tub of bait at the same price.

Just think of it as "dirt fishing." I'm still looking for that $15K find!!

Everything belongs to God anyway,He lets us play around in his toy box for keeps on the most part you never know what you'll find......Our greatest treasure is with Him now and forevev in HEAVEN.........bro.......Dan
