This past weekends finds

Mark in S.E. IA

Sat I hit an old school that I hit last year when it was dry and did really good there at that time, so I wanted to hit it this year since it was wet to see if I missed much. I didn't miss too much. I found 2 IH's 1890 & a 1907 and 1 wheat.

Sunday afternoon I hit a small park and the area that I started in was full of nails, several iron hits in one swing of the coil. In that small area which was about 40' x 40' I found the 1900 Barber dime, 2 Rosies, a 1910 V nickel, a 1901 IH, about 10 wheat's, the Reddy Kilowatt pin, the boy scout pin and then when I was out of the iron patch area I found 4 more wheat's and a lil lockett.

ALL of the finds in the iron patch area had the ID numbers jumping all over the place with iron grunts. When I got out of the iron patch area all the finds had good ID numbers and stable.

Good job Mark! One heck of a weekend for you. It has me rethinking about lakeside park here in town.

Good stuff Mark. Put an X-TERRA in your hands and you're like a human vacuum! Congrats! HH Randy

Yea Jack it was fun. between working so much and all the rain we have been getting the past 2 months I have not been able to do much MDing, so it was alot of fun for me..

Randy, you know me, if their is something good to be found at a place I go to me and the X505 is going to do our best to find it, lol

Looks like you had some fun! Congrats!

Mark, you're too modest. You and your 505 are a lethal combination. I'm just glad we hunt different corners of the State! :beers: HH Randy

Great finds Mark......Envious of the coins as usual..... the BS and Reddy Kilowatt pin are very cool.

Very nice finds!

Like the old silver coin. Old school ground can be very excating indeed.

Mike
