This should separate the men from the boys or is it men from the women...

Here's a senario. I found out about a Federal job (40 hours but seasonal) good pay and on a military encampment nearby. I am former Air Force so this would be cool with me. Its in another city about a half hour drive away. With gas prices I am thinking - gotta get the motorcycle on the road...I can save gas and money by riding it to and from that job if I were to get it.

OK, in my excitement that there is this cool job etc., I tell Sherry about going back and forth on the motorcycle. Hoping she will agree that will save us money, less wear and tear on the van, etc. I get this "Well my feeling is that you shouldn't ride the motorcycle with you being on blood thinners and all."

So, let's hear it....what do you think? Ride the bike - don't ride the bike - wear the tires off the van - keep sitting in a chair safe in the house wishing I had a job and complaining about the bills????

Fire that bike up!!!! Its great riding weather!!!

"Well, my feeling is that you shouldn't ride the motorcycle with you being on blood thinners and all"....

You have a very wise wife, Pete

and I totally agree with her...Take the job.. go easy on the gas pedal ..... see, it's such an easy decision to make! :yo:

I think God has a plan, and if you seek His will, you will find it! :) I say go for the job, and if you get it, then worry about how to get there!

:) She is smart. If she were smarter I would not be doing dishes....since everyone but me puts sharp knives all in the same place as all the other silverware in the dish water.

If she were smarter...I would not have a knife to cut my own meat. Plastic knives would scare me

Pete, I agree with Mike by trying to get the job first and if you get it, then be concerned how to get back and forth! In God's time and in His will all things are done! Keep the faith and pray before you that if the job is for you, God will open doors and make it easy but if not, then God should block the way by things not being in your favor! If you really want the job and able to work then as God to move the company people to have favor on you getting the job!

So, there you are but make up thine own mine and be happy with the decision!

God Bless!

I'm on the blood thinners and ALL...

If I thought about everything I shouldn't be doing I'd be in the loony bin. I know she's concerned but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I'll be praying for ya'll.
