I have been visiting this site for a while now I have seen some good and some bad here, The letter you wrote is the exact same as most of the other letters already sent to the Viriginia legislators, nothing you said was new just re written/worded. Now I'm not picking on you and I hope you do not erase this message.
The point all of you have missed is that in this great country laws have already been written to protect our rights, just as the archaeologists have had there laws passed instead of jumping on the rhetoric of others Charles you should be at the library finding the laws that are already in place to protect treasure hunters. I cannot do so for it would be a conflict of interest in my current position, but that does not mean I cant give a nudge in the right direction. I hope you read this and take action that will truely matter.
 
1st of all, why do we care what's been posted over on that site???
I can say that I'm a lawyer and specialize in Treasure laws or anything else under the sun. Sounds like someone with a big ax to grind to me.
That right there is bullcrap! IMO!
