Hey folks, went to a spot that has really been difficult. Super high trash, mixed layers, etc. I have found a few silvers here in the past, with the oldest being from the 40s. I was looking in the trash and happened upon a nice silver turtle ring. Next I found a Union Made overall button from the 20th century.

As I moved over a high trash area I got an iron signal with what seemed to be a whispery deep higher tone on the edges. I dug the plug and pulled out a large nail. I rescanned the hole and had that nice tone again. I dug down deeper and pulled a signal out of the side of the hole. To my amazement, it was an 1832 large cent. Just incredible. I love the Deus.

Yahoo! I'll bet you were surprised when that large cent showed up!! 1832...good job sticking with it in all that iron! Nice finds to say the least. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice! I'm still in learning mode with the Deus, and expect to be for some time. It's quite a machine! Way to show your skills with it!

Good job. Some people forget the Deus is a great tone machine. The heck with the numbers.

That is exactly how I found my gold coin, it was under a rusty bolt, got yourself a very valuable lesson in that wispy tone you had!

Nice job

Jim
