goin WET detecting!!!There is a GREAT HUGE beach up near where we will be camping...I usually find something nice up there;Have to set the sensitivity WAY up there;'cause the beach is all sand as far out as you can go; and everything is DEEP in the sand....my waders (minus the MICE!!!) are all packed and ready to go...All I have to do is install batteries in the old 1280X;and wade on in....

Thank you Lorraine for allowing me into your little group which would soon be a large group when dobbie joins us! I would really like to hunt the sandy beach but the water I'd stay out of unless very shallow a long ways out! We could chase warthog off and take over.....Do ya think he would agree with that! 
Oh and you would need to bring lots of that good food you make to give us energy to keep on going! 
Sure sounds good, but Ma isn't able to make long trips or even detect; soooooo ya all will have to do without me and then you could have all the goodies to yourselves!
Maybe some other time though.....I haven't even been to the forum hunt in Michigan that Mike, me son, puts on.....sure would like to meet my bros and sisters, but alas, it will probably be in the Rapture of the Saints!!!
