This weekends 14 hour hunt. I know I could have done better but maybe next time.:surrender:

up and down as much as I did during this Unbelievable Hunt, I think you would feel the pain a bit too. It wasn't a really bad pain but a soreness that was a pain in the butt. It wasn't really boring digging Merc's but this site should hold more for Barber Coinage and other Older Denominations which I was looking for. I have a Club Meeting this Friday so I needed to find some Older Coins for the Categories. I still can't believe that this site holds so many Keepers still. Well, if I return to the site, I hope to do as well as I did this time and hope you find something like this in your searches down the road. Good Luck and HH!

Very nice detecting weather in fact with a nice breeze. Have you been out since you got back to Wisconsin? Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

I have other Coils also but for the most part, the Stock Coil is the preferred choice. Good Luck and HH to you.:detecting:

That is the one and only reason I get what I get on hunts when I go on weekends. The Key is RESEARCH! Find the old Ball Diamonds and any other Social Events that people congregated at in the old days and you will soon be finding sites like these yourself. If you don't mind, where are you located at? Also, you have to go to sites that yield the Old Coins to find them. Good Luck and HH!

and more credit to you.

No, I haven't been out much at all. Way too dry here to dig anywhere with grass. Did hit a couple street contruction sites with little to show.

I'm loving the batteries from Rick. Still haven't charged them yet after many hours. I did by a MAHA charger and charged my old pack. Curious to see if it behaves better now.

Going to be done with work here again pretty soon. May cruise back up your way.

After I made the plans to go with James my daughter called and wants the wife and me go with her to take our grand daughter to a town close to Duluth, MN for camp. My daughter gets migraine headaches bad so when this happens she cant drive.
I really hoping I can get to this site with James real soon as I need to find some silver as my count for the year is 2 with both barber dimes.
I was at this site around 30 years ago with a Compass along with another guy on a road trip and it was good then, but never got back there again and felt where it was it was hit many times with a detector over the years, but may never been Explored from the looks of it until James used his Explorer there.

These sites are everywhere if you do the research and find the area's people congregated at years ago. I bet there is spots that are close by where you live that you overlook or just don't realize they are there. Do a little History Research and you may just find a spot like this one. Thanks again and Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

Now that's the kind of posts we all like to see.........:) Very nice collection James and I figured that if anyone would post a haul like that that it would be you. I sure wish there were some places like that around my area. I know!!!!! Research........:) Guess where I'll be this winter? Yep, in the library...........:) Again, very nice finds and I'm sure there are some coins still waiting for your coil to pass over them. Good luck and HH.
