Got out to an old park today. There was a lot of clad but I managed two silver coins and a .925 ring. The black coin is a silver war nickle. They are almost always black in my soil with a hard coating. They ring in like a wheat or a dime on my machine so they get dug. A few minutes with a file partially exposed the mint mark over Monticello. The ring is unmarked but is fine silver by the acid test. The quarter is self explanatory, LOL!!
I also found 6 40-50s wheats and about $8 in clad...
