This weeks finds

Have been working to find something old in a park that has been well hunted for many years. Found a very few older coins there 20 years ago. Went there very rarely due to not finding much of anything other then clad.

In the last week (three trips) I found what's pictured. The three Barbers came on the same day with no other silver. Dug the Standing Liberty today. The 1866 Indian is in pretty decent shape. Still needs some cleanup. Only one spot on the rim that is deteriorating at the 4 o'clock spot. All were 6 in. plus deep.

The photo was real clear on my computer.

I will interpret. Silver Washington quarter, merc dime, five Indians and three barber dimes.

That is one nice bunch of coins for a weeks work in your old park. Just looking at the assortment means there has to be a lot more and possibly some big silver. Nice hunting Mark and WTG. Congratulations on your finds.

Anytime you hit any kind of old coin in a worked out park means there is plenty more where that came from and you have just started to prove it. Congrat's on finding what you have so far and continue pounding that park until she falls silent. I know I would be. Good Luck and HH.
