Paul writes that he was content in all things and exhorted us to be the same way, all blessings are from the Lord. That in itself should drive our attitudes, so you are absolutely right. It is not what you have or have not, it is your attitude (hopefully in the Lord). Thanks for the reminder, sometimes I forget to be thankful for the haves and worry to much about the have nots.

Good word of the Lord, Steve, and thanks for the reminder! Instead of an attitude we should have a gratitude for what we do have and praise God for the goodness He always gives us....no matter how things may look or trials may test our faith!
