Thought I had a real good Lincoln penny

Went detecting for a couple hours yesterday in an older part of town. Was checking boulevards and came to one very old looking corner house and found a 1901 Indian (not quite good condition but best so far out of four), 1930, and several more wheats including one I thought was a 1922. I told my wife the dates and she looked online and said the 1922 was worth about $500. I was elated until I got home and cleaned and looked closer and it was a 1925...darn. The boulevard was chuck full of coins. I couldn't walk for than a foot or so without getting something. Must have found 30 pennies and over $5 worth of clad silver in about an 1 1/2 hours. It was about 1 coin every 2 minutes. The Pro Pointer speeds up recovery like nothing else. Going back to see if they will let me detect their lawn.

The pro pointer is crazy on how accurate of a hole you can dig after using it. It actually makes bending over for a penny worth it. I don't know how someone could live without it. The few weeks I was without mine in the beginning I spent a lot of wasted time running dirt back over my coil when I could not even find the target in my hand. Best tool for treasure hunters by far. Gets more digs per hour!!!.
Nice finds on your hunt. Keep up the good work. My goal in life is to deny mother earth from reclaiming anymore coins but digging them all first.

nuggethunter...I talked to a couple long time MDers and they told me they had never used one. I couldn't believe it ! I demonstrated the Pro Pointer to them and could have sold one to both of them if I would have had them !
