Thought it was a bottle cap but it was also something else!

Ok, thanks folks!
Now I’m stuck on the bottle. I’ve made a sketch of the jar/vase/bottle as best I can. Need to remember this was in a lot pieces and may have been broken before I exploded it.
Could also be a antique blown glass "onion" bottle.
They come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Couldnt get to the Historical but open again tomorrow. I can see the onion glass if it does come in the squatty body style, this glass was a very light purple of “lilac” as the wife said.
I have not been back there yet to continue but stay tuned!!

A Groove find.

Farm established 1883. The first occupants were born 1856 and 1858 and both born in MO, one child born there in 1884 (unknown if in house Im detecting or the second home nearby). The elder went on to be elected Sheriff 1898-1910, I now remember seeing his name on a plaque in the hallway at the Sheriff’s Office!
Wondering if 1859 possibly first coin given to the Mom at her birth by another relative or friend. Presume this mystery is dormant now.
