Amazing hunt yesterday
Noticed on the way home from work yesterday the city had cleared a small area about 15 x 30 and removed from 6
 
If it were concentric maybe the 2" radious at depth just didn't go over the coins..
 
This is a list of machines used at this site.
V3i with 10 x 12 DD coil
DFX with 10 x 12 DD coil, and 10 DD
AT Pro Stock 11" DD coil
M6 with stock DD coil
Etrac with stock 10 1/2" DD coil
One thing though I never used a small coil in this area.
Small coil might have made the difference.
