How many things do you have to be thankful for?

Why is it so important to dwell on those things, as opposed to your problems?

Can jealousy ever be good, ever be a motive for improving oneself?

Think about some of the Bible characters who displayed jealousy in this week

Excellent post. Even a smidge of jealously can wreak havok--that makes me think of stress. Some say a small amount of stress can be healthy, can keep us engaged and focused. I'm not sure about that. Most people cannot handle a healthy amount of anything....our sinful nature causes us to take things to the extreme. Whenever I feel jealous of others, I think of Jeremiah 29:11. I know this verse is used by many, but to me it means so many things. GOD has plans to give us a future, a future more glorious than we can imagine. If GOD is the provider of our prosperity, we have everything we need and have no reason to let jealousy rear its ugly head.

Amen, Martin & Liz! Good posts! May God Bless & Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
