--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, all:

Got to take advantage of some beautiful Spring weather the past three days. Monday I spent the afternoon hunting a Winter camp in South Missouri. Camp has been hunted hard and the grass is not short. Was able to pull some nice keepers. The top row of the pic is the camp finds. Nice to dig two dropped Gallaghers. Been several years since I dug any. The bullet on the far right of the top row is a T&T #44 Derringer bullet. I think the iron piece at the top is a hoof pick that's been bent out of shape.

The bottom three rows are from a Missouri battle site on private property. The two most interesting bullets are on either side of the brass buckle. On the left is a shot Savage pistol bullet, and on the right is a Starr carbine bullet with a conical depression in the flat base. Don't recall them having a base like that, but it's been awhile since I dug one.

Great to be out. Thanks for looking and keep on diggin'

Great finds Jimmy. I hunt CW relics down here in Mississippi. My area grows up in heavy vegetation quickly this time of year, so hunting gets much more difficult, and, in a few weeks, very hot lol.

Thanks for the post.
